Most significant wins/accomplishments: 2X All American; 3X Top 5 at Grand Nationals in Freestyle and Folkstyle; 4X Top 5 at Black Hills Nationals World Folkstyle Championship; 2X placer at Montana State AAU Folkstyle; Finished the 2015 season with a 43 – 14 record


Dalton "The Beast" Duncan! Dalton has done such an awesome job on the Quest, and he is truly a hard worker. Discipline, activity, and the reward at the end are all the things that Dalton loves about wrestling. He goes out onto that mat and gives his 100% each and every time. We want to wish Dalton the best luck in his coming endeavors, and we are sure that he will continue to crush it! 


Why do you enjoy wrestling?

Because it is a challenging sport that teaches me disciple, keeps me active all year, is very rewarding, fun and I’m really good at it!

What's the most important thing wrestling has taught you?

No matter how hard you train, how hard you fight, you still might lose and that’s ok, but never give up!  

What's the best advice your coach has given you? 

Practice like I wrestle! If I don’t give 110% at practice then I won’t give a 110% at a tournament.  

How do you handle tough defeats? 

I watch the video, focus on what I did wrong and correct it for the next match.   


What’s your proudest achievement as a wrestler?

Placing at the MT Open for the first time in 5 years. 

What's your favorite wrestling move?

The Kelly.  

Do you have a hero/role model?

My Dad! Also my Uncle Grant who is physically handicap and holds the Colorado Special Olympics State Record for the bench press at 400 lbs.



What's your favorite subject in school?

Gym and science are a tie!      



Do you play any sports aside from wrestling?

Football, Baseball and Soccer.      

Do you have any other hobbies outside of wrestling? 

Hunting, fishing, archery, riding 4-wheelers and building demolition derby cars with my dad.   

What are your goals for your wrestling career?

To get a scholarship to college for wrestling. 

What are your goals for the next 1-5 years?

To become a High School State Champion.
