Hometown: Gooding, Idaho 

Weight Class: 75  lbs.   

Most significant wins/accomplishments: USA Wrestling 2014, Bantam 70 Triple Crown (freestyle, folkstyle, Greco) State, Regional, National Champion; 2015 Tulsa Nationals Champion; 2015 Reno Worlds 3rd Place; 2015 Rocky Mountain Nationals Champion, Tri State Belt, Golden Gear, World Belt. 


Hudson Rogers steps onto that mat and gives every last ounce of energy he has: hard work is his motto. Staying mentally tough is his second motto, and staying physically tough is his third. Hudson has shown great grit throughout the HERO Quest, and we have loved having him as a part of it. Why do you enjoy wrestling?

It challenges me and always makes me want to work harder to be better.  I enjoy learning lots of moves.  One of my favorite hobbies is watching wrestling matches online.

What's the most important thing wrestling has taught you?

How to work hard and be mentally tough.

What's the best advice your coach has given you? 

When you wrestle tough guys, it makes you tougher.    

How do you handle tough defeats? 

Those tough defeats make me work harder to win the next match and get back on top.


What’s your proudest achievement as a wrestler?

2015 Tulsa Nationals Champion 

What's your favorite wrestling move?

Double leg. 

Do you have a hero/role model?

My brother Owen Rogers. 



What's your favorite subject in school? 




Do you play any sports aside from wrestling?

Swim team, football, and soccer!      

Do you have any other hobbies outside of wrestling? 

Snowboarding and showing sheep.  

What are your goals for your wrestling career?

Become a 4X Idaho High School State Champion Wrestle for Penn State in College Become a 4x NCAA Champion.  

What are your goals for the next 1-5 years?

Be a National Triple Crown Champion as an Intermediate & Novice.  

Where is your biggest area where you could improve?

Getting out from on bottom.
