April 13, 2015

Full Name: Jackson Losee

Birthday: June 28th, 2007

Wrestling Club: Puyallup Wrestling Club

School: Fredrickson Elementary

Hometown: Puyallup, Washington

Weight Class: Bantam 60lb.

Most significant wins/accomplishments: 4X WA State Folkstyle medalist; 2X WA State Freestyle medalist.

A 'never give up' attitude gives Jackson Losee the competitive edge. This kid can wrestle. He's been such an awesome guy to watch over the last year, and as Jackson went through the Quest, he proved he had the HERO mentality: focus, motivation, determination, and that downright never give up attitude. And we love every part of it.

Jackson has become a fantastic wrestler, and he is sure to continue this into his future years. We can't wait for it.

Be sure to read on and learn about Jackson, and congratulate him on our Facebook page!

Why do you enjoy wrestling?

Because it makes me work hard!

What's the most important thing wrestling has taught you?

Never give up.

What's the best advice your coach has given you?

Don't worry about a loss, because another match is right around the corner.

How do you handle tough defeats?

I am still learning how to do this... I am not very good at it.

What’s your proudest achievement as a wrestler?

Most recently, I lost in the finals of a Freestyle tournament for a wrestler that I had never beaten. 15 minutes later (after being pinned) I had to wrestle him in Greco and I beat him in tech fall.

To continue to get better and to wrestle in college and then the Olympics.

What are your goals for the next 1-5 years?

Be team captain on both my wrestling and football teams, win a Greco State Title, and to win an eagle at Reno.
